Journal of Science Education and Humanities https://akscoejoseh.org/index.php/joseh
The website for the open access Journal of Science Education and Humanities published by the Directorate of Research and Training, Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit, Nigeria.

Journal of Science Education and Humanities (JOSEH) is a peer-reviewed scholarly Open Access publications journal containing articles written by researchers, professors and other experts on the basis of its originality, importance, interdisciplinary interest, timeliness, and accessibility. JOSEH accepts scientifically written papers in the field of Sciences, Arts, Education, Humanities, Mathematics, Agricultural Sciences, biological Sciences, etc. Unlike newspapers and magazines, this journal is intended for an academic or technical audience, not general readers. If you fit into this expectation, kindly use our repository and also send your articles for consideration in future issues.

Beginning with Volume 8 (2025), JOSEH commences using the CAP (Continuous Article Publishing) publication model, where all accepted articles are immediately published in an issue. The first issue closes at the June 1 and the second one closes at the December 1 of the same year.

As a result, all articles have their full and final citation information available as soon as the production process is complete. This change does not affect the production time from acceptance to online publication of an article, but since the articles are published online immediately in their final form, the overall publication time for articles has become shorter.

Visit JOSEH BOOKS ONLINE
en-US akscoejoseh@gmail.com (Endurance G. It therefore, becomes imperative to use appropriate monetary policy instrument for the effective implementation of micro and macroeconomic goals in Nigeria. To ensure this, the study adopted secondary time series data collected from Central Bank of Nigeria, spanning the period of 1990Q1 to 2020Q2. The bonds test approach to cointegration was used to analyse the data. Results of study showed the superiority of monetary policy combined instrument and interest rate instrument. Also, the study indicated that the influence of CBN on money supply is significant than her influence on credit supply. This is because monetary base is the most important determinant of total supply of credit, which the CBN has less influence to control. The study, therefore, recommends that the central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) should implement effective contractionary monetary policy instruments, especially, if its goal is to stimulate investment, full employment, balance of payments surplus and economic growth in Nigeria.
C. The study was conducted to investigate the evaluation of the implementation issues in basic technology teaching by junior secondary schools teachers. Four research questions were posed to guide the study to a logical conclusion. A structured questionnaire was administered on a sample of twenty-two (22) basic technology teachers and one hundred and ten (110) students who were involved in the study. Data generated from the questionnaire were analyzed using simple percentages. The findings showed that contemporary issues are taught in basic technology classrooms, that the existing basic technology curriculum is integrated with contemporary issues. It was equally found that the teaching of contemporary issues motivate interest in the teaching and learning of basic technology. Moreso available data shows that the recent teaching method of contemporary issues does not inspire reflective thinking, curiosity and sound evaluation of factual information. The result also shows that quality of teachers and updating the ICT capabilities of the teachers improve their teaching of contemporary issues. The result revealed that the teaching of contemporary issues is yet to inculcate vocational skills in the learners. Based on the findings, one of the recommendations is that basic technology teachers training institutions should equip teachers with adequate knowledge of contemporary issues and they should be provided with opportunities to explore contemporary knowledge for their instructional effectiveness.
U. I. (see [2]), which began with studying the work of Howie and Ribeiro (see [1]) to investigate the effect of the concept of independence on semigroup generating systems. While independence is often considered fundamental in determining minimal generators for semigroups, we show instances where this notion proves inadequate. Specifically, with illustrated variations in the role of independence in Semigroup as compared to vector spaces. The study shows reliable characterization of independent generating sets that helps in the selection algorithm for the basis elements of any given semigroups.
E. H. Enyiduru, F.A. Efiong, L. E. Poverty was seen as the single most important factor that caused human trafficking. The theoretical framework adopted was Paul Prebiseb dependency theory. This theory stated that the dependence of third world countries on developed countries is the main cause of underdevelopment and poverty of the third world countries. This is so because the developed countries control and dominate the international capitalist economy and thus create policies and initiatives that impoverish third world countries thus necessitating migration from third world countries to the first world countries. The study argued that poverty contributed greatly to human trafficking. ...
A. E. Ekang, A. E.
